On January 1, 2012, Ohio's minimum wage increased to $7.70 per hour for non-tipped employees and to $3.35 per hour for tipped employees. Ohio's minimum wage is higher than the federal minimum wage and applies to all Ohio employers grossing at least $283,000 per year.
