- Practice focus: Representing financial institutions and businesses in a variety of complex business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, before regulatory agencies, and through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration and mediation; emphasizes trial and appellate advocacy in the areas of commercial loan negotiations and workouts, and business disputes.
- Practiced for nearly a decade at two firms in Cleveland and Columbus, and joined Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP in 2004
- Currently admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Ohio (and all Ohio State courts,) the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio
- Undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in 1989; Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Divinity School in 1992; Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1995
- Member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations
