  • Practice focus: Represents businesses, owners and professionals in general business, commercial and real estate matters; business practice emphasizes corporation and limited liability company formation, planning, succession, and asset protection; commercial real estate representation emphasizes construction, leasing, and acquisition

  • Currently serves as Chairman of CPM's Commercial Law practice group
  • Currently chairs the Ohio Historical Society Development Board and is involved in a number of initiatives relating to the 150th anniversary of the Civil War; serves as a member of the board of Pilot Dogs, Inc.; is the immediate past Chair of the Board of the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce; has served in various board and volunteer capacities with Huckleberry House, FirstLink, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and many other not-for-profit organizations; serves as a mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court mentorship program and on the Character and Fitness Committee of the Columbus Bar.
  • Member of the Columbus, Ohio State and American Bar Associations, Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, Association of Licensed Architects and Central Ohio Restaurant Association; frequent seminar lecturer on leasing, construction, current real estate and corporate law matters
  • Undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1984 (degree in history, with Scholar of the College honors, Phi Beta Kappa); law degree from The Ohio State University in 1987
  • Hobbies include biking, shooting sporting clays, coaching his children's sports teams, and volunteering in the Statehouse “Battery A” which fires the Ohio Statehouse Civil War cannons on special occasions
  • Resides in Clintonville with his wife, Sara, and their two children
