  • Prior to joining Carlile Patchen & Murphy, Megan was an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Law Section and Labor Unit of the Office of the Ohio Attorney General where she represented state agencies, colleges and universities in state and federal courts, and before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the State Personnel Board of Review (SPBR), the State Employment Relations Board (SERB), and the Court of Claims.  Megan represented charging parties in mediations and negotiations before SERB and represented a number of state employers in arbitration hearings before independent mediators.  Megan’s trial experience includes obtaining a defense verdict for the Ohio State University in a race and age discrimination trial before the Ohio Court of Claims.  She has also handled over 30 administrative hearings before SPBR and SERB.  While at the Attorney General’s office, Megan was competitively selected as a member of the Special Litigation group that assisted the Attorney General in new, high-profile litigation.  In addition to her trial work, Megan regularly counsels and advises clients on employee discipline, discrimination, disability, age, leave and wage-and-hour matters.   Megan’s detailed biography is attached
