  • Practice focus: Assists individuals, business owners, executives and professionals with their estate and tax planning, business ownership succession planning, and probate needs. This includes comprehensive planning for disability, transfer of property at death, and reduction of estate and gift taxes. Rich also provides compliance assistance to executors, trustees, guardians and other fiduciaries with respect to their various legal and fiduciary rsponsibilities.
  • Interests: golf, travel, sporting events and spending time with his friends and family
  • Community Service: Volunteered as a Big Brother for the Massachusetts Bay and Columbus Big Brothers/Big Sisters program; presenter on estate planning and probate topics at the Smart Money Choices seminars sponsored by the Treasurer of the State of Ohio
  • Education: Law degree summa cum laude from Capital University Law School, where he was an associate editor of the Law review and a member of the Order of the Curia honorary society; Undergraduate degree in mathematics and economics from Denison University, where he was a two-year captain of the golf team
  • Professional Associations: Member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association
  • Recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers "Rising Star" for 2010
