Adult individuals who lose capacity and failed to execute disability documents while capacitated will need a court appointed guardian to manage their money and their personal affairs.
We will assist the individual seeking appointment as guardian with the application process and the ongoing administration of the ward’s estate. Minor’s who inherit funds or lost a parent may also need a court appointed guardian. The process is similar to the adult guardianship application and administration process except a minor’s guardianship terminate when the minor reaches the age of majority (age 18).
