Jeﬀ Patter’s practice is focused primarily on business, employment, and litigation matters. Throughout his career, he has represented businesses of all sizes and has negotiated numerous multi-million dollar sales and acquisitions of corporate entities. He has also managed projects involving customs and trade matters, class action lawsuits, environmental law, real estate, intellectual property, immigration, corporate compliance, and corporate governance. In addition, Jeﬀ is regularly involved in the discovery of electronically stored information (“e-discovery”), and the organization and management of corporate legal aﬀairs services for large corporate clients.
Recently, Jeﬀ led a $100 million+ sale of an entity in China, and successfully defended and negotiated the settlement of an ERISA class action federal lawsuit. He also led a project for a $25 million purchase and resale of 5,000+ acres of undeveloped out-ofstate real estate for resort development, and directed the ﬁnancing/banking for the acquisition. In addition, Jeﬀ successfully resolved a number of actions resulting from a workplace fatality, and negotiated the settlement of an adverse multi-million dollar age discrimination judgment at a substantial reduction of the judgment amount.
He is a frequent lecturer and enjoys developing and presenting training for other business professionals as well as for the ﬁrm’s clients.
