About Carlile Patchen & Murphy

Community Involvement

Vibrant communities have healthy networks of charitable and educational organizations supported by volunteer time and financial contributions from private citizens and businesses. This is why we make community engagement and giving an essential part of our practice.

For over 55 years, we have participated in services to support Central Ohio non-profit organizations, educational foundations, developing arts, and its residents. Our attorneys are encouraged to create lasting relationships across our community, helping spread their expert knowledge to those in need.

Historical Giving

We are leaders in our community, helping develop philanthropic opportunities within the legal community. Since the program’s inception in 1987, CPM has contributed to the CBA Minority Clerkship in the employment of summer clerks. Additionally, in 2020, CPM contributed to developing the Racial Justice Work Group (RJWG), a joint effort to advance racial equity by providing vital legal services to local black and minority community members.

International Support

For over ten years, CPM has been a member of TAG Alliances, a global community of legal, accounting, and other professional services firms committed to providing high-quality, value-driven services. As a member, we build quality relationships between independent firms with similar standards of excellence and integrity, allowing us to confidently refer our clients to like-minded firms our clients can trust no matter where their legal needs arise.
