Every business has its own culture, and ours is an integral part of who we are as a firm. Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP strives to support collaborative thinking and open communication so we can deliver the highest levels of legal representation to our valued clients.
Our firm was built on a philosophy of developing long-term relationships with clients, so they would have a trusted partner to support their legal needs through the course of their professional and personal lives.
Our value proposition is the combined expertise that exists collectively amongst our various practice groups. Although clients typically engage our firm to handle a specific legal matter, often, there is some overlap within another practice area. This requires a synergistic approach to achieve the best possible results for our client. Larger firms with multiple practice group areas tend to maintain more compartmentalized departments, where attorneys are exposed to a narrow focus of legal knowledge and training, often to the detriment of their clients. At CPM, we believe in cross-training and sharing knowledge to fully leverage the skills of our talented staff.
We recognize the importance of hiring employees that will contribute to the firm’s strength and ongoing success. Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP seeks to hire self-motivated professionals that share our values of teamwork, integrity, dedication and service.
CPM provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, military service or genetic information, in compliance with applicable federal, state and local law. CPM reasonably accommodates qualified individuals with disabilities to enable them to receive equal employment opportunities and/or perform the essential functions of the job, unless the accommodation would pose an undue hardship to CPM. This applies to all employees and applicants for employment.

Carlile Patchen & Murphy is regionally ranked as a Tier 1 practice in Trusts & Estates law and we are looking to further grow and develop this niche by adding an associate, preferably with experience in this practice area. This is a partnership-track opportunity to join and grow with a practice that has large firm capabilities, but with a smaller firm, collegial feel. As an associate in the Family Wealth Planning practice group, you will be working on sophisticated legal matters from day one and have lots of client interaction.
