Amanda Strausbaugh Joins Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP’s Family Wealth & Estate Planning Group

Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP (CPM) is pleased to welcome Amanda M. Strausbaugh as an Associate in the firm’s Family Wealth & Estate Planning group. Her practice focuses on areas including estate planning, probate and trust administration.

“We are proud and excited to have Amanda as a new member of our team and are confident that her estate planning and probate experience will be an asset to our clients and the organization,” said Brandon Borgmann, Partner and Chair of the Family Wealth & Estate Planning group at CPM.

Amanda steers her clients through all aspects of estate planning, including drafting all appropriate legal documents, structuring financial assets to reduce transfer taxes and probate costs, navigating the estate administration process and counseling trustees of family trusts in the proper exercise of their duties. She endeavors to ensure her estate planning clients know and understand their options for how and when their assets will be distributed in accordance to their wishes.

Amanda is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, where she is an active member of the Young LawyersMinorities in the Law, Estate Planning and Trust Committees. In addition, she is also a member of the Ohio Bar and the American Bar Associations.

Amanda regularly volunteers for the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education, which facilitates the middle school and high school mock trial and moot court competitions. In addition, Amanda has also served on the finance committee for the Harry Potter Alliance, which supports literacy and empowering individuals in the LBGTQ+ community. She had also logged over 500 volunteer hours at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s crisis center.
