Public Relations Communications Manager

We are seeking a Communications and Public Relations Manager to join the firm’s Marketing Department located in CPM’s downtown office. The Marketing Department works closely with practice groups and firm management to build the reputation of our firm.

This position involves the following responsibilities:

  • Work with Management to develop and execute a strategy that addresses CPM’s business goals
  • Prepare and coordinate content and brand integrity for firm’s social media assets
  • Maintain and update website content and a brand integrity (liaison with web development firm
  • Manage the firm’s marketing activity expenditures and budget
  • Collaborate with attorneys to coordinate content for external newsletters and other direct marketing communications
  • Manage community and association activities and memberships
  • Coordinate external events and business development activities
  • Direct sponsorships for non-profit activities/events
  • Manage limited print and digital media advertising budget
  • Manage firm professional recognition accounts/memberships
  • Develop and distribute all firm press releases (new hire, recognition, event related)

The perfect candidate will have a BA or BS degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations and/or Marketing and 5 years of marketing experience in a professional services environment involving the marketing components listed above.

Full Time Creditors Rights Collector

We are seeking a full-time collector to join our Creditors’ Rights Group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation of pleadings, including complaints, discovery documents, and motions.
  • Respond to inbound calls from courts, defendants, and clients.
  • Management of cases from date of placement through post-judgment proceedings, including reporting activity to clients pursuant to firm and client standards.

Required qualifications include:

  • Experience in creditor representation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
