Bryan K. Hogue is a Partner of Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP. He has been a lawyer for 35 years and concentrates his practice in the representation of business owners and closely held businesses concerning their general business matters, estate, tax and business succession planning.
He currently co-chairs the Business Department at CPM, which provides a wide range of services for corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and other business organizations. He previously was the Practice Group Leader of the Family Wealth Planning practice group, which provides integrated income, gift, estate and wealth transfer planning for individuals, business executives and business owners.
Bryan received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in accounting from Wittenberg University in 1981. He received his law degree (J.D.) from Capital University in 1985 with Order of the Curia honors.
Bryan is a long-standing member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.
Bryan is recognized in “Best Lawyer in America” by Best Lawyers® for Closely Held Companies, Family Business Law and Trusts & Estates (2013, 2018-2019). He was named “Lawyer of the Year” in the Closely Held Companies and Family Business Law category by Best Lawyers® in 2019 and named by Business First as one of Columbus’ “Top Lawyers”.
