Dave Hornbeck’s practice is concentrated on the organization of various business entities including – sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies. He also counsels business entities in all areas of their ongoing operations, including – succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and corporate governance.
Dave has considerable expertise in estate administration, commercial and residential real property matters and not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations. Dave received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History/Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University. As an undergraduate, he was a member and officer of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Dave was also named to the 1961 All-American Methodist College Football Team at quarterback. Following graduation, Dave served in the U.S. Air Force Security Service (communications intelligence), including a three-year tour in Crete, Greece.
Dave received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Ohio Wesleyan University, focusing on History and Political Science in 1962. In 1961, he was a member of the All-American Methodist College Football Team. Dave received his law degree (J.D.) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1969.
Dave is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Dave has received the Martindale-Hubbell® rating of BV Distinguished®.
Dave is a long-time member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and has served as a member of its Session, as well as President of the corporation and legal counsel.
