Joe received his undergraduate degree (B.S.) from Boston College in 1984 with a focus in history, graduating Scholar of the College honors, Phi Beta Kappa and his law degree (J.D.) from The Ohio State University in 1987.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Joe is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and American Bar Association. He is also a member of Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, The Urban Land Institute and NAIOP. He is a frequent seminar lecturer on leasing, construction, current real estate and corporate law matters.
Joe Patchen has received the Martindale-Hubbell® rating of BV Distinguished®.
Joe serves on the Ohio History Connection Board of Trustees (previously, The Ohio Historical Society). He is the past Chair of the Board of the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce and Huckleberry House and served in various board capacities with Huckleberry House, FirstLink, Pilot Dogs, Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters, and other not-for-profit organizations. He serves as a mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court mentorship program and he is on the Character and Fitness Committee of the Columbus Bar.
