Education

Nikolas Hayes earned his Bachelor of Political Science and Pre-Law from Ohio University, College of Arts and Science, in Athens, Ohio, where he also minored in Environmental Science and Plant Biology. Nikolas also expanded his knowledge of oceanography at the Ohio State University Stone Lab in Put-In-Bay, Ohio.

Community Involvement

Nikolas Hayes has been heavily involved with the West Jefferson Youth Athletic Association as an umpire, occasionally assisting with field maintenance. He contributed to the Ohio University Garden by helping grow food donated to people experiencing homelessness. As a camp leader at the Prairie Township Community Center for two years, he provided guidance and activities for the summer camp. During his tenure as President of his fraternity, Nikolas organized and ran numerous philanthropy events, including Derby Days, which raised money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and participated in highway cleanups. He has also been active in various sports, including recreational leagues in college. Additionally, Nikolas is a member of the Archeological Society of Ohio.
