CPM Partner, Jane Higgins Marx, will serve on the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates for a two year term, starting July 1, 2018 thru June 30, 2020.
The Council of Delegates is one of the two major governing bodies of the Ohio State Bar Association. Jane is also a member of the OSBA Board of Governors of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section and a member of the Elder Law Section Committee.
About Jane Higgins Marx
Jane Higgins Marx joined Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP in August 2000 and practices estate and business planning, probate, probate litigation, business succession planning and elder law. Jane counsels individuals, business owners, executives and caregivers on matters of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, income taxation of trusts and estates, charitable giving, business succession and probate. She provides comprehensive planning for disability, including counseling on special needs and elder law issues. Jane assists executors, trustees, guardians, and other fiduciaries in complying with various legal and fiduciary responsibilities. Jane is the current chair of the CPM’s Family Wealth & Estate Planning Group.
