• Became affiliated with CPM Government Relations, Ltd. in July 2008
• Enjoys golf and amateur theatre
• Served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1996 – 2003, representing the 88th District; during this time he was Chairman of the Ohio House Insurance Committee, Chairman of the Finance Sub-Committee for Agriculture & Development, Vice-Chairman of Financial Institutions and a member of the Education, Retirement and State Government Committees
• In 2002 he was named the Industry Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Association and the Legislator of the Year for the Ohio Hospice Association
• After 25 years of owning his own insurance and financial planning agency, Dennis served in 2003 and 2004 as Assistant Director of the Ohio Department of Insurance. For the past four years Dennis has served as Director of Government Relations for the Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel, the state's utility advocate
• Graduated from The University of Dayton, with a B.A., magna cum laude, in Broadcast Journalism
