Alicia Nesline Shaw represents business entities in her corporate and employment law practices, as well as individuals in the estate planning process.
Alicia regularly advises clients on a variety of employment law matters including – charges of discrimination, unemployment compensation, wage and hour compliance, discipline/discharge, Human Resources (HR) compliance. She also provides representation in front of a variety of administrative agencies. Her corporate experience includes – counseling closely-held business owners through the “start-up” process, handling mergers and acquisitions, providing administrative and regulatory consultation in a variety of regulated fields and advising clients regarding their obligations to collect and remit sales tax in Ohio and other jurisdictions.
In her estate planning practice, Alicia guides clients through the process of setting up an estate plan to minimize the administrative costs and tax obligations of their estate and transfer assets according to their wishes.
Alicia received her undergraduate degree (B.A.) from the University of Richmond and her law degree (J.D.) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Alicia is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. She is a former member and Chair of the Columbus Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Committee.
Alicia currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. She is a former member and secretary of the Board of Trustees for Friends of the Shelter (benefiting the Franklin County Dog Shelter) and a former member and secretary of the Board of Trustees for the Worthington Educational Foundation.
Outside of the office, Alicia is a busy mom to her two sons and two dogs. She enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband.
